This Privacy Policy explains how ProCraftr Resume Builder LLC (“ProCraftr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use our web-based resume-building platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide when you create an account, use the Service, contact us, or otherwise interact with ProCraftr, including:

• Name and email address.
• Resume and professional information, including employment history, education, skills, professional qualifications, and other information you choose to include in a resume or cover letter.
• Contact information and other information entered into resumes or cover letters.
• Job descriptions or other text submitted for resume comparison and tailoring features.
• Files you upload, including existing resumes and other supported files.
• Information provided when requesting customer support or communicating with us.

Payment Information

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers on our own systems. Stripe may collect and process payment and transaction information in accordance with its own privacy practices and terms.

Technical and Usage Information

When you access the Service, certain technical information may be processed automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages or features accessed, dates and times of access, and information necessary to maintain security and functionality.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

At launch, ProCraftr does not use Google Analytics, advertising tools, or advertising/tracking pixels. The Service may nevertheless use essential cookies, local storage, session technologies, or similar mechanisms necessary to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember settings, secure the Service, and provide core functionality.

How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Allow users to create, edit, format, and tailor resumes and cover letters.
• Compare resume content with pasted job descriptions and identify relevant keywords, skills, matches, and gaps using rule-based logic.
• Process subscriptions and payments through Stripe.
• Send transactional, account-related, security, and service communications through our email service provider.
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• Protect the security and integrity of the Service, prevent misuse, and address fraud or security incidents.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and monitor Service performance.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information to service providers as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, including:

• Supabase — user authentication and database services.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Vercel — website hosting and deployment.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect our rights, property, users, or the public; to investigate fraud or security issues; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.

User Content

You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, job-description text, files, and other content you submit (“User Content”), subject to the rights necessary for us and our service providers to operate the Service.

You grant ProCraftr a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, comply with law, and perform functions you request.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit User Content.

Data Retention

We retain personal information and User Content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts and records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect legitimate business interests. When you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify associated information, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or logs and may be deleted under ordinary retention processes.

Account and Data Deletion

Users may delete their accounts and request deletion of their personal information and User Content by contacting support@procraftrresumebuilder.com. We may need to verify a request before completing it, and certain information may be retained when required by law or for legitimate legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include access, correction, deletion, or obtaining a copy of certain information, or objecting to or restricting certain processing. International Users and Data Transfers

ProCraftr is available to users outside the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where ProCraftr or its service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country. Information may be transferred, processed, and stored across borders subject to applicable law.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Service relies on Supabase, Resend, Stripe, and Vercel. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. The Service may also contain links to third-party websites or services, and ProCraftr is not responsible for privacy practices outside our control.

Future AI Features

At launch, ProCraftr does not use artificial intelligence or external AI APIs. Current resume comparison and tailoring functionality uses rule-based logic to identify relevant keywords, skills, matches, and gaps.

ProCraftr may introduce AI-powered features or integrations in the future. If this occurs, we may update this Privacy Policy to describe applicable processing, data uses, providers, and choices before or when those features are introduced, as required by applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, technology, business practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version and update the Effective Date. Continued use after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment to the extent permitted by law.
